Sunderland v Arsenal Match Preview

Hey guys,

How is everybody feeling today. I am not feeling well because I had 4 servings of italian food, way too much! No, really, that trashing at the San Siro was horrible, I hated that match and felt that the Arsenal where never really there. But, we've been through worse, again, last time I 8-2 much as well, and we'll surely bounce back against Sunderland.

Much has happened during and since that match, most for the worse of things. Our big german defender, Per Mertesacker, was injured before the Milan match when we played Sunderland in the massive 1-2 comeback. He's just had ligament surgery and will be out for the long-term, very unfortunate as, despite his lack of speed and confidence, he has still been instrumental for our defense.

Yao Kouassi Gervinho will be back in the lineup after narrowly missing out on the African Cup of Nations trophy. This will help rest RVP and give us more attacking options, although the Ox has been doing very good up front.

Both Laurent Koscielny and Carl Jenkinsen will be back in about a week, not in time for this weekends FA cup clash but still available soon enough to relieve our brittle defense.

So then, we've just played this match and we came out on top, but will the Black Cats learn from their mistake? Did they make that many in the first place? How will Thierry Henry's absence affect our game, he did after all score the winning goal for us last time around? WE shall see, but I still think we'll bounce back and win.

Predictions:
Lucien: 3-1 to the Arsenal
Henri: 2-0 to the Arsenal
Matthew: 2-1 to the Arsenal

We never predict losses, do we?

Thanks fo reading,
Lucien
