Introduction: Lucien

Hey guys,

My name is Lucien. I am half-French and half-Vietnamese. I was born and raised in New Yrok and currently live in Brooklyn. I caught "gooneria" or the "red fever", whatever you prefer, back in the
2007-08 season in the Barclays Premier League. Ever since, I have been a real "gooner", a gooner for life. My one and only love has always been Arsenal FC. My favorite player is Alex Song, although I was a big Cesc fan before he left. I really believe Song is the second best, if not the best, player on the squad currently. I am also quite an avid Djourou supporter.

My favorite moment as a gooner was back in 2009, when we faced, as usual, Barcelona in the Champions league Quarter-Finals, first leg. I remember that match like it was yesterday. We were literally dominated for the entire first half and somehow, thanks to some truly superb goaltending from, surprisingly, Manuel Aluminia, we didn't concede. But, all good things must come to and end and less than a minute after the second half kicked-off, Ibra-cadabra scored a magnificent chip. He scored a second later on. The highlight of the game came when living legend Thierry Henry returned home to play against us. The rush of emotions as he come onto the pitch pushed me to the edge of tears. Then, the amazing happened, Theo Walcott scored then, a penalty the Cesc Fabregas converted gave us a massive boost and the draw in the end. Of course it came to nothing when Messi trounced us 4-1 at the Nou Camp a week later, but, nonetheless, my favorite moment as a gooner.

Thats enough from me then, hope that you'll read this blog to get all the news about Arsenal FC,
Lucien
